Ok, most moms know that it's the Dad's job to teach the kids all the silly, gross, irritating things that they need to know in life. Eventually, as a mom, you figure out that all the ideals that you had in the beginning are silly. Life and people have a way of thwarting your resolve and showing you that life continues. Brett is REALLY good at this aspect of fatherhood.

They trust Dad completely, even when he's being a trouble-maker.
He got them to taste it (yes, that's Dr Pepper).
He didn't expect them to like it so much- they drank that whole can!
Austin would clutch the straw.

Shane would sneak a drink whenever anyone put the can down.
If you think dad's corruption is bad. Wait for the older sibling corruption to start. Allen spent a month teaching the little one to drink from a straw (and yes, it was Pepsi or Dew) Then in a matter of 5 minutes his siblings taught him that it was a lot funner to blow. So much for all that hard work.
