Weather Alert for Sitka

An aquaintance pointed this out on facebook. It's hilarious to me.

National Weather Services has issued an alert/statement that communities in Alaska's "panhandle" should prepare for record heat this week "upper 70s".

Sunscreen? check
Shorts? check
popsicle tray? check

Sounds like I'm set. BRING ON the HEAT WAVE.
"Having a heatwave... a tropical heat wave... Tempertures rising, it isn't surprising...." something something something. WOO HOO SUNSHINE!!!
