My options:
#1: Double stroller: great condition, well loved, $30
#2: Sit-N-Stand: great condition, newer, $80#3: Bob double jogging stroller: good condition, side-by-side, to borrow for this trip- free
Brett isn't 100% convinced that something is needed and worried that it would make it all even more difficult for me. I am hardly a "seasoned traveller" so I have NO CLUE what to do!
Another issue- my friend brought up Security- how has it been getting through security with a stroller/sit-n-stand? I'd love some way to strap them both in place as I get everything on the belt- and off the belt; they tend to wander. But how much more difficult would it be with putting the stroller through too? Have you any thoughts on moving carry-ons and strollers together?? (I'd beel like a push-me/pull-me!)
I would borrow one unless you have really been wanting one anyways. I'd love one of the sit and stand ones though and they are pricey! I think I'd look for a new one on Amazon though if I really thought I was going to use it. They offer free shipping to Alaska as well. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteSit and stand.... Shane will love it and it'll get the job done. :) The BOB will be great for your adventures but hard to manage in the airport.
ReplyDeleteI loved having a stroller on vacation. I would reccommend something you can strap the boys into tightly so they can't run off while you are looking the other way. :)
ReplyDeleteThe sit and stand folds up really easily(with one hand)... and you WILL have to do it; to put it on the belt to go through security & to place it near the door to the plane. I don't know what they would do with one that didn't fold up easily (like the BOB), probably treat it more like a wheelchair.
